Flickering - _{Entry V} - Disturbia

Sakura sat on her bed, tissues scattered everywhere on the sheets. She held her knees in her hands, and laid her head on the top. 'Why did I let my mouth shoot off like that.'

Sakura's eyes were red, and she had been crying for about three hours now. The fight she had with Naruto really wrecked her. Now she had ruined her chance to be with Naruto.

She got off her bed, and answered the door. The person kept ringing, and ringing. She opened the door, "What?"

It was her team. She cleared her tears, "Hey guys. What's up?"

Doki looked at her, "Sensei, why are you crying?"

Sakura smiled, "Doki, I'm not crying."

Yoku nodded, "Yes you are. Your eyes are red, and tear stains are on your cheeks. What's wrong Sensei?"

Sakura invited them in, "Come sit down."

They sat and looked at their sensei. Sakura sat down across from them, "You guys shouldn't be worried about me."

Inu shook his head, "Yeah we should. You are our sensei."

Sakura smield, "It's nothing. I just had a fight with Naruto."

Doki looked at her, "Naruto-sensei? You guys broke up?"

Sakura laughed, "We never were going out...now those chances are ruined."

Yoku sighed, "What did you say?"

Sakura shook her head, "It's something about the past. But, I really love him you guys."

Inu smiled, "We kinda guessed that. The way you look at him, and everything."

Sakura started to cry some more, "But he is so oblivious. He doesn't understand how much I love him."

"He probably does, he just wants to be sure for himself."

Sakura stopped, and closed her eyes. "So you think he knew the whole time?"

They nodded, "Yep!"

Sakura stood, "Well, you guys. I need to be alone. Goodbye. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

The three Gennin left, and Sakura sighed. She locked her door, and sat on her bed. 'I need to go over there and apologize.'

Sakura got up, and went outside. She locked her front door, and ran over to Naruto's house.

She knocked on the door, and waited. "Naruto. It's me. Please open up." She knocked again.

"I'm sorry. I want to talk."

The door unlocked, and Naruto looked at her. "What is there to talk about?"

Sakura looked down, "I was wrong to accuse you for things that were untrue. And I understand that. Please, don't be mad at me."

Naruto looked down, "How could you say something like that Sakura?"

Sakura was about to say something, until Naruto sighed. "You know what, I feel like you accused me for something that could destroy the world. You tore my heart in two. Do you know how that feels?!"

Sakura started to cry, "Yes! I do. It's happened to me three times! Two of them because of you!"

Naruto looked at her in awe.

"Everytime you would leave! I would get sad. I cared for you so much, and I thought you would die or get seriously injured!"

Naruto looked down again, "Sakura."

"Do you know how bad that makes me feel?! To tell you something after I've cared about you for all these years!? TO TELL A LIE!!!!"

Naruto looked at her, "Sakura..."

"It feels like getting stabbed in the chest. And the knife being pulled out slowly. That's how it feels."

Naruto sighed, "Sakura. This is not a good time."

A girls voice said something in the background. Sakura looked at Naruto, "Who's that...."

Naruto looked back, "I'll be right there Yuki. Sakura, I have to go." Sakura looked at him, "What?! Naruto, please don't do this to me." Naruto closed the door, and locked it.

Sakura looked at the white door, as it closed in her face. She started to cry, and she put her hand against the door. 'Naruto.......don't leave me......please...'

Sakura got up, and walked home slowly. Naruto put his back against the door, and sighed. Yuki walked over, "What's going on?"

Naruto sighed, "Um, Sakura came by."

Yuki nodded, "Is everything okay? Do we have to put this meeting about the Chuunin Exams aside?"

Naruto shook his head, "No. Let's continue."

Tsunade looked through the files of lost ninja in battle or dead ninja in Konoha. She looked up Obito, and looked at the murderer's name.

"Okay, Yun Takahiro." She searched up the file in the cabinet, and gasped. "Shit!" She got up, and unlocked the door to the secret files. She opened one of the cabinets, and pulled out a file in the 'M' section.

"Damn! We've gotta put a strong force out there."

Meanwhile, Sakura walked down the Open Market of Konoha.

Everyone was happy buying fruits and things they needed, while Sakura was sulking, looking at the bracelet she had on her wrist. "Maybe I am destined to be unloved. Am I just a total bitch?"

Suddenly, Shizune came running out of nowhere, and bumped into Sakura. "Sakura!" Shizune helped her up, and Sakura looked at her, "What's wrong Shizune?"

Shizune caught her breath, "Tsunade wants to see you now. Go get Naruto with you."

She ran off, and Sakura nodded. 'Putting personal stuff aside for now is fine with me.'

Sakura ran back to Naruto's house, and knocked on the door. "Naruto! Tsunade wants to see us at her offifce! Now!"

Sakura ran towards the tower, and Naruto opened the door. He put on his jacket, and Yuki looked at him. "Naruto? Should I come too?"

Naruto nodded, "Yeah. Let's go." Yuki and Naruto ran towards the tower immediately.

At the office, Tsunade had downed a half a bottle of Sake. In front of her stood Naruto, Sakura, Yuki, Shikamaru, Kiba, Hinata, Ino, and Shizune.

Tsunade slurred her words, and hiccuped. "We have a serious issue."

Naruto looked at her, "Hurry up old hag!"

Tsunade growled, "Anyways, it seems that our friend Yun Takahiro was an alias of a very special criminal."

Sakura gasped, "No way."

Tsunade nodded, "His alias was Madara Uchiha."

The Jounnin gasped, and Yuki looked away.

"Madara has also been known to take form of any person to get to their target."

Naruto looked at Tsunade, "Wait. Didn't we kill Madara?"

Tsunade nodded, "But you said you didn't find a body."

"Because my Oodama Rasengan obliterated him. There shouldn't have been any remains."

She held up a finger, "Your rasengan is only a jutsu. Madara is a tricky little prick. He could have taken form of anything in the area to fool you."

Naruto looked down, and Kiba stepped forward.

"What do you want us to do?"

Tsunade burped, "I want you to take extra precaution. Madara is coming soon, I can already tell. And he wants Naruto."

They looked at him, "Why?"

Ino nodded, "What's so special about Naruto?"

Shizune sighed, "Tsunade, you might as well tell them. They need to know."

Naruto stood forward, "I'll tell them."

Shikamaru smirked, "That secret. Hmph."

Naruto ignored it, "Guys, I'm the container of the Nine Tailed Fox. And Madara need Kyuubi to complete his world domination."

Ino gasped, "Seriously!?"

Kiba laughed, "Wow, no wonder you were so strong during all your battles. Even against Neji."

Naruto sighed, "It's a curse I have to live with, and I need to stop Madara from taking Kyuubi."

Kiba nodded, "I'm protecting that fox in his stomach."

Ino nodded, "Me too."

Hinata smiled, "Count me in."

Shikamaru rolled his eyes, "Whatever."

Sakura looked away, and nodded. Tsunade smiled, "Now. Enter your Gennin in the Exams tomorrow, and make sure to keep extra security around the perimeter. Don't let anyone in that isn't from Konoha or is very suspicious."

They nodded, and left the room.
